PARTICIPATES IN PAKISTAN FOREIGN OFFICE WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION (PFOWA) MEETING IN PREPARATION FOR THE ANNUAL CHARITY BAZAAR

On 9 October 2025, the Philippine Ambassador's spouse, Mme. Alicia Kalaw-Fernandez, and Vice Consul Rain Mendoza joined fellow members of the Pakistan Foreign Office Women's Association (PFOWA) in a preparatory meeting for its Annual Charity Bazaar that gathered spouses and female diplomats from various embassies and international organizations based in Pakistan.

The gathering provided a meaningful opportunity to exchange ideas, strengthen networks, and plan upcoming community initiatives that promote cultural understanding, women's empowerment, and social responsibility.

The Embassy's participation in PFOWA activities underscores its support for platforms that advance gender and development (GAD) goals while fostering friendship and cooperation within the diplomatic community in Islamabad.
