On 22 November 2015, Ambassador Daniel Ramos Espiritu opened the 7^th Filipino Community Sportsfest in Lahore participated in by around 150 Filipinos and Filipino-Pakistanis, headed by the South Punjab Filcom President Ms. Maria Atique. The day-long sports competition was attended by Filipino community members and leaders and their Pakistani institutional supporters from the mass media, academe, public health and business sectors.
