CONSULAR OUTREACH MISSION IN LAHORE
 
 
   

 The Philippine Embassy in Pakistan led by Ambassador Daniel Ramos Espiritu conducted a consular outreach mission at the Philippine Honorary Consulate General’s office in Lahore on 21 November 2015 during which it was able to service a total of 41 Filipino expats, dispensing services which included processing 13 passports for renewal and extension, issuing 13 Embassy IDs registering 1marriage, and issuing a No Objection Certificate for a work contract. It also entertained consular queries and assistance-to-nationals consultations.
 

 During the same mission, Ambassador Espiritu met with Pakistani Ambassador to the Philippines Safdar Hayat on 19 November 2015 to discuss issues of bilateral concern.  He met with Pakistani officials led by former Information Minister Munir Ahmad Khan and with Filcom leaders and manning agency owners on 20 November, followed by a meeting with Honorary Consul General Rizwan Fareed on 21 November 2015 to discuss consular and Filipino community concerns. The meetings were capped by a diplomatic reception hosted by the Honorary Consul General for the Ambassador on the same night.
